A review of the broadband usage in Wales conducted by CMI.
CMI were appointed to conduct a review of the current scale and nature of benefits from broadband usage in Wales, and the needs and trends that would support a case for public intervention. The research comprised a literature review and synthesis of existing data sources. This was supported by a e-survey of SMEs in the Convergence region, which achieved 1,599 responses (a response rate of 13%). The findings from this research were presented in a report to the Welsh Government and provided an important policy input in next generation broadband infrastructure development in Wales.
