CM International appointed to conduct a final evaluation of the UKTI Emerging Markets Growth trade development programme
The programme was delivered by the UKTI to SMEs in London seeking to develop international trade links to emerging markets. This support included access to existing and amended UKTI programmes and resources such as the International Trade Advisor Network.
The final evaluation research included management and delivery interviews, interrogation of programme monitoring data, two beneficiary workshops and a final survey (65 web responses and 10 telephone interviews). Key areas of analysis included gross outputs, net impacts, value for money (based on the 3 E’s), cost benefit analysis and Strategic Added Value. The final evaluation identified strengths, weaknesses and future lessons. The approach adopted was fully consistent with the London ERDF Evaluation Guidance.
