CMI audited the current position of Knowledge Intensive Services in the Region, and their potential to play a stronger part of its innovation support system.
The Audit included a review of the Regional economy and its evolution in recent years, and a detailed mapping of the KIS sector from existing data sources. This was supported by a telephone / esurvey of more than 100 KIS providers, and consultation programme of with all higher education providers in the Region (including Institutes of Technology and the National University of Ireland, Galway). Good practices were also examined, alongside existing policy responses to KIS in Ireland. The findings from this report are available online at: BMW audit final report.
